With many families enquiring about Kindergarten next year, we are correcting some of the most common misconceptions about enrolling at OLR.
You don’t need to be of Catholic faith
We are very proud to be an inclusive community with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds, including families from other Christian faiths and other faiths.
Priority is given to Catholic families and those with siblings, though we welcome all and simply ask you support us in our teachings of the Catholic faith.
There is no zoning/catchment area
You do not need to enroll based on zoning or go through an out of zoning application process. While being local allows you to fully embrace the community around our school, we accept applications from families regardless of their home address.
We understand the need to select schools based on the wellbeing of your child as well as your own work and family commitments.
Sibling discounts and payment options
Many families are surprised at how affordable our school fees are, often cheaper than daycare fees. Quite often it is wrongfully assumed fees will be around the same cost as private schools, however, this is simply not the case.
Families can also receive sibling discounts for children enrolled at Diocese of Broken Bay schools. Discounts are applied to second and third children enrolled, with fourth and subsequent children attending for free!
We are committed to supporting families who wish to access Catholic schooling for their children. Importantly, no student who meets the enrolment criteria is denied enrolment purely based on a genuine inability to pay fees and other charges.
How to enroll
Pick up an enrolment form from the school office, open 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday during school terms, or download a copy online.
If you would like to find out more, you can organise a tour of the school with our Principal, Bernard Cumming, by calling us on 4324 6641 or fill in an online enquiry form.
